It was okay. I enjoyed the kid's performance, and the early interactions between him and Roth were a lot of fun. The movie kinda fell apart when the girl was introduced. She was a terrible, undeveloped nothing of a character. A vengeful vixen. Then the movie just became a mess with some decent bits (the tied-up, threeway shootout was kinda fun).
There were just so many little details (when the kid is tied up and being tempted/tortured, he literally has one hand fully untied and acts as if he's still imprisoned) and rushed parts that I lost interest. Then the lazy, cliche climax. It would have been better if the comedy was more at the forefront. Roth and O'Connell had a good rapport.
