I am probably the only person on this earth who has unfortunately never seen a live performance :(, although I do own the movie and this live version. I have a question though... the actor who is playing the Phantom also played "Christine's father" in the movie version according to IMDB. I am confused - I thought the character of the father had already passed away. Can someone enlighten me? Thank you in advance!

He is dead, so it was probably a flashback. It's been a while since I saw the movie, but that's what makes sense in my head.

There was a flashback, I believe there may also have been photos on the grave/mausoleum.

At the very beginning of the song Angel of Music, Christine is looking at a picture of her father, and it's a picture of Ramin, the Phantom in this production :)
