A little tiny thing that bugs me.

It's not much, but during the final lair scene, the Phantom lasso's Raoul and leaves him there on the stairs. Raoul's really got nothing to worry about, as all he's got to do is go up one step.
When I went to see it on stage, the Phantom had Raoul lasso'd against the square gate thing.
I understand every stage version is going to be different, but Raoul didn't appear to be in any real danger.
Anyway, as I said, just a small thing that bugs me. What do you think?

I think that they were at the Royal Albert Hall for a special performance, not all the elements of the regular stage show were represented, like the mirror bride not being there in the first Lair scene. I think that they probably assumed that people could use their imagination that Raoul was in real danger.

Since the RAH is a concert hall and not a theater some of the staging had the be changed (ex. the chandelier shooting fireworks instead of crashing). This didn't bug me too much since I like the song so much, yet I feel like there were ways around it.
