Favorite/Least Favorite song.

1. I really loved the Phantom of the Opera song. Mostly because it was the first one I heard. Notes and it's reprise are a couple of others. and Ramin's reprises of "All I Ask of You" But since they weren't full songs, I tried not to put them above a full song.

2. Least favorite was Wish you were Here Again. I know it's emotional or whatever but I could never get into it.

I really like masquerade. I like big choral songs, and especially when they are accompanied by everyone moving in the same way (especially if it's some simple movement like putting a hand in front of their face). Though I do like the title song, poor fool, prima donna, and the grand finale.

I would probably say magical lasso is my least favourite.

Look, I'm sorry I called you an inanimate object earlier. I was angry.

Hard to pick a favorite, but maybe "Point of No Return" or the title song. The song I like the least is probably "Music of the Night" (I know, I know...), but still, they are all great.

“Phantom of the Opera” and “Music of the Night” were the first two Phantom songs I ever heard; Final Lair from “Down Once More” to the end.

My least favorite song, is during the Dom Juan Triumphant rehearsal scene. (Where everyone but Christine are singing to the enchanted piano) I can’t understand what anyone saying.

Thorax!

I quite like most of the show.

My fave is "Point of No Return". Oh gawd it's just gorgeous! Listen to the brass when the Phantom is singing (possibly an intentional musical joke about the brass he must have had to pull off that stunt).

I also love the Overture, "Stranger than you dreamt it" though only Michael Crawford seems to have figured out how to sing it correctly. (And, I must add, I heard an audio-only clip where the much-maligned Hugh Panara comes pretty darn close to exactly correct musically), and "Think of Me". "Il Muto" is hilarious; cracks me up every time. I also love the title song, "Why have you brought me here", and both "Notes".

Least Faves? I, ahem, never listen to "Music of the Night." Just hate it. Maybe because at this point in the novel he is dragging her around by her hair, maybe because I was terrorized for a year by my very own stalker (who acted just like Captain Hook except he knew how to use a cell phone). I don't like it. It's not even on my iPod and I fast forward through it on Netflix.

The libretto to the whole show is so underappreciated, but "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" really does have confused lyrics even though I love the melody and the insanely difficult violin solo leading into it. Ya' get whiplash from those lyrics: sad happy sad happy sad happy and on and on every line plus they contradict the triumphant orchestration accompanying them. Sierra Bogges acted the heck out of that song even though it sounded like it was too low for her and they should have raised the key by a step. The lady has been singing for two hours already and hasn't sat down since intermission if she even had a chance then; it's already in a different (and unrelated!) key than the violin solo leading into it so they should just transpose WYWSA in a key where she is comfortable. But still, beautiful sleight-of-script on her part. Major props to Sierra. Ya' gotta be made of stone not to cry when she performs it.

Favorite: The title song, and I just love the overture.

Least favorite: Prima Donna. It doesn't do anything for me.
