What twist? Gannon is white male, so he's gonna be evil or a cuck, period. That's obvious from the very beginning, that's no twist.

An unexpected twist would be that a secondary role white male wasn't evil (or a cuck) at the end of day. That would be unexpected in modern Hollywood. THAT would be a twist.
