Japanese characters

The live action movie stars Japanese actors and since it is a Japanese anime I guess it makes sense, but in the show it says that there aren't many exotic races left. Mikasa is the only person who is supposed to be Japanese, everyone else is white European which shows in the architecture of the cities in the walls. I just don't know if it will change anything.

As a reader of the manga series (which I highly recommend), yes races do become more important later and unless they are not planning to make a sequel (which is unlikely), they will be shooting themselves in the foot.

reply

Yup. But I suppose it is probably solved by having Mikasa still come from a lineage (the Ackermans) that are very powerful human beings.

But they already shot themselves in the foot with the exclusion of Levi.

The director and producer said it was to be 2 films...

reply

I wish it will made in Hollywood
I mean i am big fan of anime and the entire world should be behind the wall but

Hats of to Japanese for making such phenomena

reply

you are an idiot, only weeaboo americans are about this maybe at most 1 million people? hollywood doesn't care.

reply

It was confusing to work out who was who because they were all Japanese and all had black hair. In the anime the difference in looks is obviously much clearer.
