Can I trust the reviews of retards?
Watch it for yourself and make up your own mind. But why would you watch the movie first when the anime is available? The story is much better, the characters are much more interesting and questions are answered.

Anything is worth seeing so long as it doesn't disturb you. There is some disturbing violence (giants eating humans) but that is why you are here, no? As for the movie, you can enjoy a strong beginning and a non-boring ending. What is in between is very run of the mill fodder, plus none of it really makes any sense because they removed too many characters and events.
What happens in the anime/manga however is truly a great story that is much larger than giants eating humans and humans fighting back. It is more about humans versus humans.
I don't believe one has to be into anime in general to enjoy the "Shingeki no kyojin" anime. There is also the manga available which as close to the source of the story as you can get.
