Wow, just zero taste all over the place.

With such an amazing ensemble cast, one would think they could at the least make a decent movie with sheer acting prowess, but some of the direction the actors got was just awful, especially Satomi Ishihara, I just simply could not understand her persona or why they portrayed her like that, and you couldn't even see her face because she was wearing goggles all the time, just a disaster, and I like her as an actress, which is why this was even more devastating to see. Why would they cast a beautiful actress like her, then make her wear goggles? Just pure face-palm.

Haruma Miura is also a very good actor, he did literally carry the whole movie it felt like, but even his presence just got destroyed when they turned him into a titan as well, one of the most ridiculous WTF moments in cinema history.

The actresses in this movie are all very pretty and attractive, which resulted in a lack of diversity in personality, well other than Ishihara Satomi acting unnaturally hyper.

There are glimpses of action scenes that were done brilliantly, but it just gets lost in all the mediocre nonsense that's surrounding this movie.

But in a odd way, it was bad in a refreshing way that I enjoyed watching it, maybe because I don't watch Japanese movies often, so if this was one of their worst efforts, then I think it's not that bad compared to the crap Hollywood spits out. Having said that, I probably won't watch it again because the subject matter is not something that intrigues me in any way.

Lastly, I found it very refreshing how Hiana was seducing Eren, or more accurately, simply inviting him to have sex with her so directly, I respect women like that. Japanese women are the best.
