Scene where the man was...(spoilers) and accuracy

The scene where the man was fondling the naked child. That wasn't real right? Like it was CGI right? 'cause it looked really real, and I kind of can't believe a man actor could do that to a child actor.

Also, how accurate is the movie to real life events?

THat was a totally unnecessary scene. We got the idea how vile that character was. We didn't see the child actor subjected to such a scene.
