So they actually found a camera dn footage of the rape and it just disappeared?? I mean why didnt they make a copy first before handing it over. Oh god this film just ruined me and my hope in mankind.

yea, that was messed up. i would have sent the tape to the media and had it played all over the news so even if they did go free everyone would know what abunch of sickos they were.

I guess they shouldn't have trusted the prosecutor, but they did. Also, it is the tradition of giving a former judge lawyer the win, so maybe it wouldn't have made a difference.

The prosecutor himself said that with that kind of evidence nothing could save them, the former judge thing or the settlement with the families. So yes, it would have made a huge difference.
