Surprisingly Good Movie.

Didn't expect much, but it was actually pretty good. And Perlman gives a good performance as usual.

I would say it was better than the original.

Cons of the original
- The reveal of who was behind the game was retarded
- The 13th challenge made zero sense
- The cop storyline went NOWHERE

All of those issues were fixed in this film, maybe the cop sub-plot in the original was explored by the sequel that I never saw, but as the original stands on it's own, the cop sub-plot was pointless. I also thought the original dragged in certain scenes and the editing was really choppy in places (like when the dude had to climb out of the well).

I enjoyed this film too (6 out of 10) even though a lot of the film had massive plot holes and some characters did things that I found totally unbelievable. I've not seen the original so I can't comment on how it compares.

I liked it as well, except for the ending. In my opinion it didn't make much sense, but whatever.

Yeah liked it very much. The movie had unexpected moments throughout and one of the few endings in a thriller movie that i think gave good closure.
