JFK reference
At what time is the JFK-reference mentioned? I missed it or it was cut out of my version, it probably is the latter since they only mentioned the ostrich but i never got to see one.

share1:11:41 on the YIFI 1080p rip
share>YIFI
>1080p
Pick one, only one because that's all you can get with YIFY rips.
Only dream I ever have is it the surface of the Sun. Every time I shut my eyes it's always the same.
Not sure I'm following you here..
YIFI makes 720p and 1080p rips.
>YIFI makes 720p and 1080p rips.
No, he doesn't That's my point. a 1080p film is just that, 1920x1080. YIFY's idea of 1080p is always 1920x800.
Only dream I ever have is it the surface of the Sun. Every time I shut my eyes it's always the same.
I don't know who YIFI or YIFY is, but I suppose I can guess. However, I can also guess that you don't really understand how HD video works.
1920x1080 is indeed the Full HD spec. Most TVs have this resolution as do many monitors. TV shows are broadcast at this resolution and games are played in it. However, 1920x1080 is an aspect ratio of 16:9, and most films are wider. If you pirated a movie and it was 1920x800, that means that the film was shot in... You know, I don't know and I'm not going to do the math. But I guarantee you if you buy a legal copy of the Blu-ray edition of Star Wars, you'll get a similar resolution. It's still 1,920 pixels wide, but it's shorter because it's wider than 16:9.
Perhaps you would want everyone to make their movies 1,080 pixels high, but then the width would be wider than your TV. So what you're ultimately saying is that you want a really wide TV, and most things would have pretty fat pillar boxes on the sides. Does that make sense? No, it does not. So as it is, you get letter boxes.
I understand your confusion. 720p should have been called 1280p and 1080p should have been called 1920p, perhaps. I don't know why they use the vertical when the vertical is variable while the horizontal is constant. But if this YIFI/YIFY guy or crew is making 1080p movies and they have 1920 pixels wide but less than 1080p, that means the movie was likely shot in a wider aspect ratio than 16:9 (i.e. most of them).
Hope this clears things up.
...As for JFK, I think the implication is that the JFK assassination was a 13th challenge, implicating a Kennedy as the second shooter, but since this is kind of absurd, it's only hinted at.

Ironically I just finished watching this movie and it was the YIFI 1080p one I watched. And yes you are correct. His copies are made correctly, It's just because the original versions he makes rips from are in 16:9 ratio. Thus making his rips correct. As a side note the only downside to his rips is that they are very small because he uses low quailty audio to shrink the overall size of the file. Although its not really noticable unless your an audiophile.

I hear ya, like Kennedies needed some extra cash.
shareIn the opening credits there were many dates and locations marked on a map, of historical events, including Nov 22 1963 in Dallas, inferring that Kennedy's assassination was part of the 'game'.
shareWas that supposed to be part of the last challenge, suggesting that one of his family members killed him? Perhaps it was supposed to be Teddy. One of the other challenges could have been drive your car into a river and leave your date in the car....
shareI think it was someone's 12th challenge. Kinda like killing the 20 bikers
