I actually saw the Japanese original when I was 15.

I'm 24 now. I still own the DVD of 13: Game of Death. I enjoyed it back then! Didn't even realize there was an American remake until I randomly saw this on Netflix tonight. Watched it and enjoyed it as well. Good stuff.
