Colin Firth Deserves an Oscar

One of the best films he has ever done

reply

Maybe so, but not this year: it hasn't been released in the US yet.

I thought the movie and acting was very very good. Colin Firth is a wonderful actor.. He does deserve an Oscar for this movie.was surprised to see it was filmed in Australia!10/10 from me.

reply

He played it very well, but it wasn't a very challenging role. I expect an Oscar winner to really give a lot more.

He was amazing. The scene where he comes back to Nicole after first meeting his tormentor shows an acting ability far beyond many others without one bit of dialogue.

reply

y did it come out in europe in 2013??? and the oscars are here in us in march so it would not even come up in march of 2015 just saying /?

reply

Colin First is a great actor and good in everything he does. Since it is early in the year and Colin already has a Best Actor oscar, we shall see.

reply

He was very good but I don't think this performance showed anything different than we've seen from him in roles like The Kings Speech or A Single Man(My fave). I think he has a more promising role coming up with the Woody Allen film where he might play something a bit different.

Colin Firth is possibly the best working actor in the world today.

I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Firth is absolutely unbelievable. I've seen his other roles and for me, this one does stand out, for its own merit, in an unique way. Almost traumatizing to watch!

Hopefully he will receive more awards. Fully agree with you.
