Was the little girl intentionally dressed in red?

Was it just me, or did anyone else wonder if they deliberately chose to dress the little girl in this film in red, to draw a comparison to the girl in red in Schindler's List. I thought that especially with the focus on the girl dancing while dressed in red as well especially when they replay that scene at the end.

No. That sounds silly.

Yes, there was a reason for her to be in a brighter color. What it could mean will differ between viewers, but I do believe that there was a distinct reason.
