If you had a problem with the strike...

... then you should seek professional help immediately. If you would kill 80 people to save 1 person, then I don't even know what to say to you. People like you don't deserve the safety and protection that you have.

This is pure war propaganda of the lowest kind.

You really think gov give a damn about collateral damage then you need to look at the drone kill statistics.

Shame the "drones" on this board & who rate these movies so highly cant see it for what it is.

You seem to be confused. There is a difference between what an individual wants, and what is right or wrong. It is always right to kill 1 innocent to save 80.

reply

How do you know they saved 80? All we know for a fact is that they killed a civilian, there can't be any proof otherwise because a decision was made, one actual death to stop a potential 80. So you are not 79 lives up you are 1 life down until you can show someone proof that those two vests would have been succesfully used.

Because not all of them are, they fail a lot, especially when constructed in less than clean environments. You should change your name to IMDassumptionmaker.

Would you still say the same thing if today Russia used a drone to kill a terrorist in the US, resulting in the death of an innocent American bystander?

reply

The issue is that saving 80 people was a highly probably versus the killing of one girl being a pretty done deal. Carrying out a certain action versus a highly probable one in this case was effectively murder.

They showed a scene early on in the movie where the boys left a house before being transported to a place where they were being armed. Surely, if the boys were going to carry out an evil act, the eye in the sky could have seen the boys get into the car, follow it and strike at a more convenient place.

The goal of the military was their targets (top 5 list) not the 80 people. They were using the 80 people argument to gain the approval of a strike against the terrorists.
