Little girl deserved to die when she double dipped on selling the bread

For the sake of turning this thread that should have never existed in the first place into something good, let us for a moment ignore the trolls, as they obviously are since I don't believe such stupidity exists, and look at the facts:

A girl sells all of her bread, but the buyer runs away chased by those that patrol the area. Thus, the man supposedly had done something wrong in the girl's eyes. What should have the girl done? Throw the bread away because it was not hers anymore? Chase the man herself in an attempt to deliver the bread?

Obviously, the most rational thing to do is to resell the bread. Would the man return later and ask for his bread? Well, we can surely assume it would not be a problem for the girl's mom to bake more bread.
