Right!? I've never watched a french movie so I have no idea. The rating was decieving. I wasted 2 and a half hours with this stupid movie. The characters had no redeemable qualities. The guy especally was blatantly an a$$hole throughout.
*spoiler*...... And in the end he
nearly killed his son because he turned his back on him to go pee. The kid should not have been playing on the ice anyway. Horrible father, just an all around $hitty human being. I don't know what she saw in him. From the first time they met when he called her a whore for the clothes she was wearing. He didn't even redeem himself there after. It just got worse.

I dont think its a bad flick, im just wondering if people in europe are so thorougly unlikable in general, stupid and selfish. None of them has any consideration for anyone except themselves. Its not just the boxer, its his sis, her husband, cotillards character as well.
