Bear McCreary's score
I managed to enjoy this solely because of the music but I had a feeling it was borrowing cues from other films... can't quite say which, Stargate maybe? and others.
shareI didn't hear any David Arnold at all in the score. It sounded like Battlestar Galactica to me, which isn't a surprise since it's the same composer.
I liked the score, though I found it a tiny bit repetitive and limited in musical development.
The score was nice and subtle, adding atmosphere... but why was there a score in a "found footage" movie? Source music (radio et.)? Sure. A score? No way. Doesn't belong.
