i kind of feel sorry for so many people who can't enjoy a show of they have to read subtitles as they miss truly fantastic shows like this one. IMO this trumps a number of top
US shows like GOT or Walking Dead. This is just so gritty and doesn't shy away from the harsh truths of that world (such as kids and unarmed innocents being gunned down ruthlessly). I've just finished episode 11. I'm saving 12 for tomorrow, gives me something to look forward to.
I totally agree with it being the best new show this year. I just finished watching the end of the first season yesterday and can,t wait for the second.

I don't speak any Italian and I can say that subtitles were fine for me. It's annoying for about the first 15 minutes but you quickly forget about it as the show is good enough. I personally don't like having the audio changed as it just feels unnatural. I prefer seeing it how it was meant to be seen
shareIt's worth to hear it with the original audio. People don't speak Italian, they speak 'Napolitano' and it adds lots of flavour to the mix.
shareI'm three episodes in. Pretty good so far, although Pietro is the most incisive character. I assume that will change and Ciro will step up. Very good use of location. Hate the music, though.
