Sorry about starting a topic on this but i'm slightly confused when everybody says this is the end to a trilogy? Grants of Charles Swan & Private Lives (I think?)

Are these films (Cant find any record of them?) Books? - Anyway if somebody could explain because I was under the impression that this was a stand alone film being the sole creation from Roman Coppola, i.e. he penned the script, not based of a book.

Anyway, if anyone could catch me up that would be great, thanks.

These guys are joking because it's called "III" (but this refers to the name "Charles Swan III")! There isn't any trilogy at all. ;)

Well naturally that is what I thought, so if you don't mind me asking what the hell is private lives/grants of Charles Swan, just stuff they've made up?
