redeeming quality of this slow gritty film
Ok, I really like it on the whole but yeah, it's soooo slow, to a fault. And other just insignificant things like continuity issues, maybe it's just me that's bothered. My god, do you own more than one outfit?!
The redeeming quality in my opinion is the cinematography. It struck me as just top notch, especially for a low-ish budget movie. Now, I watch a ton of them but this is the best camera work/direction I've seen in a while. It was nice to watch, not too artsy but you can tell the director started out as a Photographer and knows her was around a camera, film or otherwise. I respect that.
The movie is flawed yet I'd recommend. And I'm finally sick of Jesse Eisenberg, haha.
