For anyone ever considering a Kelly Reichardt film

1. It will have a slower pace... probably too slow for most
2. It may have an ambiguous ending
3. The overall sound might be a little quieter than your typical Hollywood fare
4. It may involve something countercultural
5. There will be characters who have moral dilemmas

If you have a problem with any of the above 5, don't watch a Kelly Reichardt film. It's as simple as that. Stop acting so surprised every time she releases a new film that contains all of these elements.

Just watched night moves. Liked it a lot. Which of her other films would you recommend?

I loved Wendy and Lucy.

Yes, it is funny when people watch a movie like this, or something by Terrence Malick or Eric Rohmer and are surprised when they find it slow.
