Something that bothers me
While the movie is good but what bothers me is that everyone looks sick and pasty as if death is immanent. Does that bother anyone else?
shareI see what you're saying, but I think it's just a stylistic choice. Not only is it winter so people tend to look more pale and cold they seem to have infused the film with an Orton kind of effect, if that makes any damn bit of sense. This kind of glowy, soft-lensed type of look. It's often a photography filter to make things look a bit more dreamy, if you will. So perhaps that's playing a part in what you're seeing as well.
It didn't really bother me though. It's just another thing to kind of go with the gloomy, somber tone of it all.
