The right timing.. And what makes a Coen tick?

How easily ones attitude can influence our choices. I tried getting into Llewyn a couple months ago but wasn't in the right mind set. I decided to try again and was of course overwhelmed by the Coen brilliance.
It was a real pleasure to see cameos by actors that Hollywood had seemed to have forgotten. The Coens' ability to cast the perfect actors for their respective perfect roles. Kudos to another fine film made in whole by some of Hollywood's finest.

You're not the first person I've read that that's what happened as well. It got some bad reviews when it was released right? And I think that ended up hurting it and people kind of stayed away, eventually just forgetting about it. But when people return to it it seems like they really enjoy it and see it in a different light.

I think this is the kind of film people just have to come to on their own, without much of an agenda or expectation (as hard as that can be). When you stop thinking about reviews, or who's made it, or all that sort of baggage and can view it removed from all that noise it shines.
