Why did the cop shoot him?
I liked the ending and the foreshadowing given in their earlier conversation, but it seemed a little out of the blue.
The sheriff deduced that the hitman had something to do with Shelby's, and likely Trey's, disappearances. Plus, Shelby was family, his nephew.
