I immediately recognised the plot of this from the first fifth or so of the trailer, and I immediately rolled my eyes! COME ON, HOLLYWOOD, BE ORIGINAL FOR ONCE!!!!

It is a sequel, as Kiefer Sutherland is reprising his role from the original
