To those that saw the first one...spoilers ahead...

I have a question for those that saw the first film. We know the young girl in this film gave birth towards the end of the first one but where is her child? If you saw the trailer, I'm led to believe she doesn't remember much because there's no mention of a child nor do they go into much detail on what really happened to her.

Another question...is Cotton really dead? What really happened to him that night? How did the young girl move forward after the events of that night to the point we see in the trailer?

Didnt they throw the baby into the fire? I dont remember the movie that well and thank God because it was awful.

Yes, the thing was thrown into the fire. Someone here on this board explained to me that the demon the girl mentions by name in the trailer to the sequel is what became of that demon baby. Haven't thought about it in that way. There are some who believe that not is fire a purifier but also its the dawn of a new beginning, i.e., this demon that seems to pursue the young woman in the sequel.
