Was the first one really that good?

It's an alright movie. It works better as a character study than an actual horror film. The performances are really good and there are a few creppy moments with enough going on to keep you entertained. The ending however sucks, but it's not as bad as most people say it is. I'd reccomend checking it out.

It was very good, however the ending upset a lot of atheists.

Can someone spoil the ending of the first one for me? Never watched it, but I wanna know why it upset atheists.

There's common defense for this movie, and I don't understand why.

It's not good. At all.

While the movie has a good idea? And starts off interesting? We learn that the peak of the movie already happened 10 minutes into it, and that the rest is just a downhill spiral.

It literally tells you the ending in the middle of the movie. The girl isn't good at acting, anyone who thinks differently could post why.

This was just a bad movie. The trailers were very misleading in my opinion, and the ending didn't upset me?

But it made no sense to me. I thought it was horrible.
