I Actually Liked The First One A Bit, But...

I wasn't expecting the first one ot be the kind of movie it was. The trailers made it seem like a bottom of the barrel straight up horror film, vut it was more of a thriller that used the first person cam as part of the main guy's character and his contradicting faith. With a few chills here and there.

But then the last 10 minutes turned it into every other movie of its kind with the demon cult and the running through the wodds and the jump scare kill. However, I still enjoyed the movie as a whole, this coming from someone who thinks that modern horror is down the drain.

But this second one looks meh. What could be an interesting premise looks like they're re-doing The Exorcist II in the style of Blair Witch 2.

Anyone else like the first one but think this new one looks lousy?
