I thought this was Rated R?

I remember seeing a few weeks ago about the director saying that he was aiming for a R rating. But then just a few days ago I saw it advertised on tv and it was announced as PG-13. Anyone know the reason behind the change?

Well, its rated pg-13 for 'horror violence, terror, and brief language'. My guess is they toned down the theatrical version to try to make more money from annoying teenagers, since 75% of the audience were teenage girls when I saw the first one. Wouldnt be surprised if the blu ray is a "too intense for theaters", with a one minute difference.
