Cotton

It would be interesting if Cotton does somehow show up, though Patrick Fabian isn't listed as an official cast member... maybe as to not spoil the movie? But yeah, I'd hate to feel he dies right after finally gaining his faith back... but that's neat nearly everybody from the first movie is reprising their roles. I wonder what "Tinman" will be... (saw it in the character listing).

*spoilers*

I doubt he will come back. But honestly I really enjoyed his character arc in the first one. He admits to being a fake but when faced with a genuine case he finds his faith and goes running into the Chaos. Very inspiring to say the least. I'm one of the rare people who enjoyed part one.

I'm 90% sure he'll be back, although probably just for a scene or two (somewhere in the third act, is my guess). I read an interview with Eli Roth and when asked whether or not Cotton would be back, he couldn't answer.

just saw the movie...he doesnt come back and is barely mentioned.

I was hoping for a post-credit cameo showdown between he and Nell, but I guess he's actually dead after all.

He didn't blow the movie for you. Patrick Fabian isn't mentioned in the credits.

It's not like when Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon presented at the Oscars and Geena said, "I think we should do a sequel for 'Thelma and Louise.'" and Susan replied something to the effect of, "No, remember, we died at the end...we went over the cliff." Davis then says, "We could have bounced."

That spoiled it for me because I hadn't seen it yet.

Or worse, when I was going to the movie theater with a friend of mine to see Doc Hollywood and I pointed to the poster for Presumed Innocent and said, "Have you seen that one yet?" She was a big Harrison Ford fan, so I figured she had. Little did she know, I hadn't. She then said, "Is that the one where the wife did it?"

Those are spoilers! :P

I stand by my accusation that he should have put SPOILER in his comment. Just because someone isn't in the credits doesn't mean they are not in the movie.

Example: Don Cheadle is not in the credits for Oceans 11

Bill Murray is not in the credits for Get Smart.

Do some homework.

They are called uncredited cameo's.

Idk, while Part II didnt surpass Part 1 by any means, if there could somehow be a sequel, maybe Cotton can wake up in a hospital with 2nd degree burns on his body. And when he becomes alert, he remembers during a cool flashback of that night, and keeps asking what happened to Nell, where is nell, so goes goes out to try and find her, 'unknowingly' to try and stop everything. I mean, Part II's timeframe wasnt that far off from the first movie, right? (Fyi, this ^^^^^ is how Paranormal Activity 2 should have been made with the demonoligist from The original)
