Weird Dream After Watching This...

It basically went like this: my dream self was asleep and woke up. But I (dream me) was experiencing sleep-paralysis. I've never had it before, so I don't know how I knew that's what it was, but it almost perfectly matches all the descriptions, except I could still move just enough to try to scream and force my eyes shut. I was attempting to scream and look away because at the foot of the bed was a large dark figure similar to the guys in the black hoodies seen in the trailer of this film. The only difference was that it had the face of the insidious demon, with eyes that glowed yellow. After a glimpse of 'him' I shut my eyes and tried to scream, but no sound could come out. Has anything similar happened to anyone else? A dream where your dream self experiences Sleep Paralysis?

There are scientific explanations to this because like you said you experienced sleep paralysis, you can google it if you want but different cultures have different interpretations. For me because I am filipino I was told a trick to snap my body out of it it sounds funny but it works most times.. My dad told me to wiggle my big toe, so the next time that happens try it. Avoid sleeping where you are facing straight up. Have a knee bent or try sleeping side ways.

The scary thing about experiencing this is that some people say that someone is trying to possess your body. I had a similar experience and was only able to open my eyes mid way while i made out a silhouette of a person in my room trying to speak to me. I was able to snap out of it but before I did i heard two loud door slams before I was able to move again. Look it up it's pretty interesting yet creepy stuff..
