Next to nothing actually happens in the entire movie

I'm all for films with thin plots if style and mood take the wheel, but there wasn't enough of either to even warrant the creation of this movie. What were these guys thinking? The first one was actually a decent horror flick, but there was just nothing to this movie whatsoever. Really weak and frankly disappointing.

I rewatched the first one and its shocking how bad the second one is.

When I left the film, I thought about how it was conceived, why it was conceived, and why anyone would want to finance it. Just couldn't figure it out. A nothing film.

It just seemed like someone came up with a quirky ending so they added 80 minutes of not very much to get there and show it.
