such a con of a 'horror' film

the first film had its moments and merits but wtf were they doing with this dreadful piece of dirge - almost the entire film is set in bright/day/sun light... don't they know the slightest and first thing about making a so-called horror film is to keep things somewhat dark and creepy. there's absolutely no sense of atmosphere or terror about this - it rambles along like some true-story TV movie-of-the-week reject and goes nowhere. why even bother making a sequel or a horror film if you don't give the audience one iota of what they are paying for and cheat them out of their hard earned cash by some zero rate effort of a mess, plus I'm sick of films like this that try create a buzz and interest with a snazzy trailer and marketing campaign for which the film bears no resemblance - shame on all involved.
