For anyone who's seen the movie, what realistically could they do for a part III with how part II ended? Its a pretty nihilistic, apocalyptic, end of the world kind of ending. Don't know how you come back from that...

They could show us what shes become and what conditions she lives in, and then immediately cut to a priest that knows a final way to save her from Abalam (sp?).

She could take over the world, most people that survive worship her or the demon inside her. But a small group of rebel priests start off on a quest to perform the "true" last exorcism.
It could be kinda cool if done right.

They stop portraying God as if He's helpless to stop the end of the world and He sends a fireball down to destroy Nell and tosses Abalam into hell after they've destroyed New Orleans. That aside what the last guy (K Dog) said could be interesting too.

They could bring back Cotton from part 1. They never explicitly stated that he was dead. It'd be easy to show a flashback scene of him escaping the fire and then preparing for the final battle or whatever.

As it was revealed the demon is in love with her so what we get to see in part 3 is A DEMONIC LOVE between those two and the birth of little half human - half demons to carry on the legacy...LOL
