Just to clarify, her father was dead all along right? And he appeared to Nell as a ghost?
Was the blonde girl involved at all, or was she just a face used by the demon to make Nell extra scared & think everyone was against her?

I think her father was alive. He told her he made everyone think he was dead, but now had to "do" what he had to do to make things right. So when he tried to kill her, I think the demon Abalam, possessed the blonde girl and used her to kill Nell's dad. Then *poof* he made them disappear so no one would believe Nell.

I agree I think he took control of the blonde and then killed the dad and that's why he was able to take his image at the end. He was responsible for the dad's death.
shareNo, I believe the dad was already dead. She saw him a couple days before the killing sitting in a chair as an apparition. The blonde girl I am a little confused about. Not sure if she was being manipulated by the demon because they shared a room or if she was a demon herself. She was smiling too when the one girl went into a seizure. She seemed evil the whole time. I'm not sure if she/demon licked her at the end to tell her to get out of the house.
Please Hollywood, do not ever consider remaking Rocky!!!
