I'm confused as to what Gwen's point was. (kind of spoilers)

yeah, she was used as a tool for a scene, but when that girl had "overdosed" Gwen was standing in the background, just smiling away. And then, for no reason, she turned into a bitch, "oh...I just found it." though, the demon could had still been in her i suppose. Was it just a random plot point, I mean, it's not like this movie had anything else going for it.

I thought she and all the other people Nell ran into were part of the satanic cult from the end of the first movie, but then I figured it was probably Abalam f-cking with Nell's mind.
Never liked Gwen, thought she was an annoying bitch from beginning to end.

I also wondered why the nurse that bathed Nell at the beginning of the movie took a lock of her hair. It seems like they added a lot of red herrings or things that just go nowhere in this film. Very pointless.

I assumed later that she did it because she had a feeling about Nell or somehow knew her past, so she used the hair to track her down or something. (???) Regardless, the bit of foreshadowing they did have was a little lame.

Sorry for the late reply. Miss Cecile (the RN) took a lock of Nell's hair because she had attempted to make a spell of protection for Nell and needed her hair.

I got the sense that the blonde girl was evil from the start. Not possessed.
Just in on it from the beginning.
