Set logic aside - this movie is a screwball farce
No different than if Lou Costello tried to convince a school counselor he was a girl's dad, etc.
shareIt seems like the writers put some thought into it. Pretty much everything she tried to get away with -- acting like a 28-year-old adolescent, pretending to be a teen's mom, trying to do a "sleepover" with a minor -- she got called out on.
The counselor -- yeah maybe that was slightly over the top but how many public school counselors have you met? They're not all Sherlock Holmes types who can sniff out a fraud.
