Shouldn't they just fight each other's villains?

Since Superman knows Metallo has something that can hurt him then Green Lantern should fight him, and the others like wise would swap villains and there wouldn't be a problem.

Good thing Aquaman and Green Arrow weren't invited to the party though cause they weren't all that powerful and do they even have villains that are tied directly to them? Black Manta for Aquaman but no idea who GA has.

I said the exact same thing when I was watching it.

Also: GA has Merlyn.

I think GL has Sinestro.

I would've liked to have seen them switch up.

I was kinda hoping that the final fight was going to have some switch up stuff going on. I expected a little bit more of a free-for-all instead of the one against one we saw. That may have made the battles last too long, though.

The fight scenes were pretty weak, to be honest; the only fight that had any real energy to it was Wonder Woman Vs. Cheetah, the rest were just stiff and lethargic, adding to the unfortunate "been there done that" feeling of the overall film. Superman Vs. Metallo? Seen it before, seen it done better; their match up in PUBLIC ENEMIES was much more brutal, as were their fights in the solo 90s series. Batman Vs. Bane? The DCAU did it better way back in '95, and after all these years they still go for the venom tube method, which just gets old after a while. GL Vs. SS doesn't pack the emotional punch that it should, Flash Vs. Mirror Master was pretty meh, the Martian throw down wasn't all that spectacular despite the shape shifting and the opening against the Royal Flush Gang was pretty weak compared to the DCAU match up from the 2nd season of Justice League.

Switching up combatants might have helped but with such a by the numbers attitude from the crew who knows...

That was a major thing for me that made this movie a failure. It's too unintelligent. Something for a child's mind that doesn't question this (or someone who simply doesn't matter because he's a fan or whatever).

The fights of the villains against the heroes was already of lame results. If Batman has provided such well working ways, why not finish them?

I think even Batman would have defeated the robot faster. And Superman would have wiped the floor with the rest. Maybe with the help of the Flash, while Hal could have taken care of the bomb and the rest could think of mean things to say towards Batman on the after show party.

I thought they took the same enemies again cause they wanted revenge or a "round 2" if you like, since they know now what weapons they have and wouldnt be suprised again.

If they switched villains, it might not go as well. There was an episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold which had Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman battling each other's arch-nemeses, and they ended up being defeated pretty easily (Batman by Lex, Superman by Cheetah, and WW by Joker).
