Why not send a stronger villain against batman?
Ma'alefa'ak can shape shift and has super strength.Why not just have him walk up to Bruce Wayne and have him punch a hole through Wayne's chest?

Why not set Superman against Cheetah and Mirror Man; and Wonderwoman against the kryptonite robot and Bane? Or any other constellation but the one they chose?
