Django Unchained is a much more superior film, with incredible writing, characters, and realistic historic view. Tarantino knocked it out of the park!

Steve Mcqueen however dissapointed me with 12 years a slave. Too many drawn out shots about depression. The writing could be better in some scenes. The soundtrack was just copying many other blockbusters and hans zimmer. Long uncut shot of slashing? why?

All in all, Django is obviously the better film!

They are both deeply flawed films. Django is a comic book. Ridiculous story, ridiculous characters, ridiculous situations. It's still a fun movie.

12 Years is a better film because it's based on a true story and the situations are very believable, but it suffers badly from horrible direction.

It's an old post, and I assume the OP was joking. The two movies aren't comparable.
