Surface Radar ?
I was wondering if the container ships had Radar. Like in Captain Philips. so if pirates etc try to board. lifeboats have transponders. I heard about one activating whilst on land and they tracked the owner down to his house. But I suppose if they can lose an aeroplane at sea a lifeboat is not so hard.
