I'm a bit lost re the container

After he manoeuvres away from the container using the sea anchor, he goes back and ties up to the container. I assumed he was going to try and tow it for some reason, but it disappears.

Does he go back just to haul his sea anchor again, or was he actually towing the container?

Sorry if I'm being a tad dim!

He went back to undo and get back the sea anchor. Assume you just watched it on Film 4 like me??!

thanks I didn't understand that! I think he tied his boat to the container so it could not drift away, I'd have tied me to the boat though - I'd wondered if he was getting materials, or collecting a souvenir in a bit of a 'Tom Hanks' moment
