So what's with the ending? (spoiler)

Where the prostitute opens her head and shows him her brain? What is it supposed to mean?

Yeah probably the most confusing part.
First time I saw that I completely missed it (I thought she just removed her hair extensions or something before leaning over to, um, work). A scene where the poor camera quality and B&W picture actually work against what it's trying to show.
Second time I was paying more attention and already expected the surreal elements to take place and I caught it.

To me it was about intimacy from the programmer's perspective. She was exposing the part of her that he was most interested in. I took it as an irony. Maybe it had something to do with control as well, but I'm more certain it had to do with revealing or discovering something personal through a casual act.

The group couple kind of did the same thing to him; they picked his brain so that they could figure out how to turn him on. Yup, plenty of metaphors.

-"But you know what's on my mind right now? It AIN'T the coffee in my kitchen..."

I loved the ending, I thought it was perfect. One of the main themes that I got from the movie was the advancement of technology and the people themselves and especially how they interact with each other and the ending just took that a step even further.

The movie begins by saying computers are essentially stupid at this point, maybe it could beat a human in chess in a few years. But then we see computers refusing to play against other computers followed by the master losing in a game. And then finally, it's revealed that the prostitute actually is a computer. And in my opinion, it kinda represents how as we're progressing, humans are becoming more like computers and computers are becoming more like humans. If that makes any sense

I felt like the kid, the main protagonist of the film, lost his chance of having a real experience and relationship with the one and only girl at the conference. So in the end he sleeps with a prostitute, where the experience is very mechanical and artificial, which goes along with the subject of the whole film.

For the most part I felt like the whole movie sucked and whoever made the film really doesn't understand technology, and doesn't really care to either...

I agree with your interpretation, but did not think the movie sucked.
