WHAT-A-SHOW!!

Woow! What a show! I declare myself Gran Hotel obsessed! Ha! I started and finished the show all the seasons including the finale in spanish that is not in Netflix. It got me soo hooked that I even bathed watching the show! I dream about the characters and see myselof laughing by myself remembering what happened to Andres and about Ayala and Hernandez. Ha! I toootally love this show. I think it will be my #1. Superb acting!! Lovely clothes and storyline. Everything was perfect! All the crew were wonderful! Diego made me hate him! Teresa what a bad mother! Hated her too! Sofia what a lying "lady"! Haven't seen this kind of acting with everyone! Everybody did their best! Loved the time era. I couldn't even concentrate on anything because I watched show after show and didn't even sleep enough. Ha! Wow! Hope they sell it soon in US so i can buy the dvds. I don't think if I buy a dvd from Spain it will work in our dvds. :( Too bad it ended. Oh if anybody wants to see more information about the show you can go to the original channel. It's in Spanish.
The website is:

Well, I'm with you, of course! I've seen the first 42 episodes almost four times through by now. I haven't seen the last season because I need subtitles even though a lot of Spanish is starting to sink in and come back. But it's not enough. The whole series is available on DVD, and I would buy it except I can't find out if it has English subtitles, and I don't want it if it doesn't. I would actually buy a DVD player that plays multiple formats from around the world if I knew I could get this series with the subtitles. If anyone has bought it and knows if it has them, please let us know. You can get a blue ray machine that also plays all the other formats for under $200, and to me that would be worth it. I'm sure it won't the the last time I find something I'd like to own from another country that may not be available here in our format.

BTW, I finally ran into a friend at a conference I went to who has been as hooked on it as I am. It was so fun being able to discuss the show with someone live! She speaks some Spanish, so it's been even better for her. I also got some Hispanic waitresses at our favorite Mexican restaurant hooked on it. I considered it a gift to them to offer it as a recommendation, a sort of thank you for all the great food and friendliness over the years. :) They've also expressed their appreciation, mucho, but they don't have as much time to talk about it in detail in a busy restaurante. We've had some helpful conversations about Español, however, so it's all good.
