Does the series finale end it well?

First, I'm not looking for spoilers. I just want to know if the ending ties up loose ends and has a happy ending. I mean, it is unlikely that many (or even a few) who watch this genre, actually watched Lost (2004) too. The series finale on that was... well, deflating isn't nearly a strong enough word.

I'm presently in the middle of Season 2. Caution however, there may be minor spoilers ahead so stop reading now just in case, unless you're in Season 3.

I'm already feeling like they're drawing out too much mystery. At some points, there are several mysteries going on at once and as soon as that one is done, they tack on another. I also find it very hard to believe that Teresa is able to get away with as much as she does.

All the questions and and all the lies make me believe that what they give as "answers" may only be more lies. For this reason, I'm concerned that it won't really end satisfactorily.

Again, please no spoilers. I just want two yes or no answers. If you feel you need to say a little more that's fine, just please no spoilers. Please.

1. Does it tie up loose ends?

2. Is it a happy ending?

The series has so much to recommend it, I can't get too exercised over the stuff they had going on that was questionable, like the things Doña Teresa got away with. I still enjoyed the whole thing and found the ending very satisfying. As a victim of some pretty spectacularly awful endings of some series over the years (one soap opera I watched from the beginning back in the 70s was cancelled and ended with no loose ends tied up and with several cliffhangers that I still get frustrated over), I was thrilled with this one. It ties up most of the loose ends, and does a really cool thing at the very end that I won't spoil for you. I didn't know it was coming and thought it was fantastic, very much worth the wait.

I was always amazed at how they had all these plot lines going and was amazed at how they kept track of everything. I saw a special about it where the actors said they didn't know what the story was going to be until they saw the scripts from week to week. So I tend to be forgiving when it comes to the plot because I don't know how they it did as well as they did. There are always slipups in long series like this. I try not to let it bother me and interfere with my enjoyment of the show, which I love because of the characters, the music, the scenery, the romance, and the relationships. It's also hilarious at times! So—enjoy!

Nope, still loose ends.

But for me it was a happy ending, although it was a bit in a rush ,and some characters didn't deserve a happy ending even though they experienced some redemption towards the end.

Here's looking at you kid.

I agree, but it's done now, and there's not much we can do about it. Some people certainly got away with murder, but then I think Ramón Campos has a pretty bizarre way of thinking sometimes. If you ever saw El internado, you'd know exactly what I mean. LOL
