Great serial killer movie. Been a long time since I seen one.

I really liked this movie. Had me on edge the whole time. Excellent detective/serial killer type movie. Takes me back to the Se7en days. And finally, Mr Cage in a good movie. About time.

I second that, excellent movie. It's Nicolas Cage best movie since Bad Lieutenant. But John Cusack stole the show, his amazing performance is the reason I rate it 8/10.

A run of the mill serial killer movie, not much different from others, and even has the cliched one last case idea. The trouble with true crime films such as this is that the ending is known beforehand, unless you'd never heard of Hansen. So the film needs something special to overcome this, which this film doesn't have. John Cusack was very good and makes up for his awful turn in The Paperboy.

I agree, was also pleasantly surprised by Vanessa Hudgens in this, quite a good performance.

I was surprised too. I tried to watch spring breakers but I just scrubbed through it after a few minutes but this movie as she portrays a stripper/whore, she was great in it.

It is impossible to make a completely original serial killer movie with all these detective shows now on tv. The Frozen Ground treaded famil8ar territory but it did it very well. Cage was as subtle as he has ever been. The scenes between him and Hudgens were excellent. Cusack was very unique. Gave a great performance. The strength of this movie was the acting. It was top notch. It was great to see Cage back after a few bad movies like Trespass and Seeking Justice

Hudgens was definitely the MVP in this one, and I also liked her scenes with Nic Cage. Hopefully she can get rid of that Disney burden.

If you enjoyed this movie, check out The Factory. It's slightly darker and Dallas Roberts gives a great performance.

No offense but The Factory sucked. The twist was a joke.
