Will this get nominated ?

Nope. Just for the fact that this got such a small limited release and it's not backed, or campaigned by a major studio it won't even be watched. Real shame though. Solid movie but seems to be missing something. Too much shaky cam at times.

Unfortunately, he wasn't featured enough to get nominated.
I thought he did a pretty solid job. But the movie didn't really go deep enough inside of Hanson to allow Cusack to be nominated.
I thought the downfall of the movie was there wasn't enough of Hanson/Cusack.

I thought both actors Cusack and Cage were excellent. was this a stellar film, no polished but why should that dismiss the fact both leading men were at the top of their game and should be acknowledge. Maybe that is the problem with the awards during awards season time, they tie everything together..an actor's performance can only be acknowledged if the film they were in is acknowledged.

Though I very much liked it, and all the acting and direction and soundtrack, I don't think it is quite Oscar level, and also think Tucci was much much creepier than Cusack in this one. Though Cusack did good with the role, I simply don't think he was the right casting choice.
But on the other hand, if the rest of the Oscar field is weak, I guess this could sneak in, but I don't think so.

I sure hope this signals the return of Cage as a great actor.
