I know what you mean; the movie played more like a present-day police show and the like and tried to make Anchorage look like some cosmopolitan metropolis like New York City or L.A. It's a city of 250,000 people that barely has a highway system! And thousands of miles from any other big city. No, Fairbanks is not a big city!
